Alpenheat on Greenland Mission

On April 2008, after 2 1/2 years of preparation the two alpinists, Georg Csak and Dominik Rind, will start their expedition to the icy cold mountains of East-Greenland. Georg Csak and Dominik Rind are the first German expedition that will climb the 4 highest mountains of Greenland, which are North of the Arctic circle. As first people ever they will go down those mountains on their skies.
From the beginning the expedition, called Arctic Summits Expedition, has been organised by themselves. This expedition will be carried out without external logistics and according to the "fair means" principal. By crossing the Greenland ice with Pulkas (self-propelling sledges) they want to advance to the mountain range, where only a few people have ever been. There, they want to climb the highest peak (3693m) of the Arctic, but also carry out some first ascents on till now unknown mountains. All together 38 days, the two South-German`s will spend on their own in the eternally icy area.

Alpenheat BootCover as well as the bootheating systems provide comfortably warm feet for the expedition participants also under most extreme conditions.
